"Doug I found the;

  • Case study presentations
  • Demos and low ratio of student to presenter
  • Plantar fascia discussion
  • Wet lab anatomy workshop
  • Course manual and technique DVD for future reference all very helpful.

This course goes beyond just needling skills and pushes your ability to clinically reason. It encourages thinking outside the box and to question what is already 'given knowledge'. It's been a pleasure being in your course the past 4 days."

Frequently Asked Questions

What does this course entail?
This course consists of online theory, one and 1/2 days practical and a FREE 2 hour wet lab, making it unique in Australia. The theory component consists of self-paced online modules, that must be completed before attending the practical F2F day component of this course. You attend 1.5 days for face to face training and to gain your certificate of competency, you undertake a written and practical examination. A complimentary 2 hour Living Anatomy Wet Lab Workshop is provided in the UWA Anatomy & Physiology Department. This course provides a complete package designed to maximise not only your dry needling understanding and safety skills but also your palpation, surface and depth anatomy knowledge.
How long do I have access to course materials?
You have access to the online course materials - across any and all devices you own, for 6 months. You are expected to have completed all the online theory modules and downloaded the course eManual in preparation for the practical workshop day.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
YOU RISK NOTHING! We offer a 30 money back guarantee on all our courses. Attend an AAP Education course and if you are not absolutely convinced that it will improve how you treat your clients, we will provide you with a complete refund. Why? Because we are sure the course content quality and clinical insights you receive, guarantee you exceptional value for your money. P.S. Since 1995, no one has asked for a refund from us. Ever.
Will this course provide CPD hours towards my AHPRA registration?
Since 2009 (national registration), there has been a seismic shift in course accreditation. No longer are professional bodies able to award points based upon their own accreditation system. AAP Education courses attract full CPD credits towards your AHPRA National Registration requirements. This means, attending an AAP Education course will provide you with 75% or more (depending upon your course and profession) of your annual CPD requirement.
Does this course include a 2 hour wet laboratory workshop?
Yes it does! AAP Education believes so strongly in the importance of surface and depth anatomy, that all our dry needling courses include a 2 hour wet lab workshop.
Do we receive a DVD, to assist reviewing all practical techniques?
Not any more! To ensure maximal learning, in addition to a colour eManual, case studies and a wet lab workshop, you now receive access to our online Video Technique Library, enabling you to review the correct needling techniques learnt on your practical day. Perfect for later review at work, at home or while skydiving.

"Dear Doug,
I have meant to write to you for a long time now regarding the courses I completed with you in July. I wanted to write and say thank you so much for everything over those 6 days. I found the courses ABSOLUTELY fantastic and they provided me with a much more holistic and open-minded view while starting in on my physiotherapy career.

During uni, there was so much focus on joints, joints, joints and Maitland techniques as the 'be all and end all' of treatment. Adding acupuncture to my clinical set of skills and the knowledge of how it can be utilised to impact upon patients' conditions and their symptoms has been vital in developing myself as a more broad-minded physiotherapist. Thank you again."
